Price Lowered By Almost Rs 1 Lakh

Throughout the 2010s, the Hyundai i20 has been a fan-favourite. The i20 was a major reason for Hyundai’s success in India and was the premium hatchback of choice for most Indians. And now Hyundai has made significant price cuts, making it even more affordable. 

Hyundai has unveiled a new base variant for the i20. The base trim Era is priced at Rs 7.08 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Before this update, the i20 range started from Rs 8.09 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This is a significant price cut of almost Rs 1 Lakh. Moreover, Hyundai has also cut the prices of two other variants by Rs 13,000: Magma Executive and Magma MT. On top of this, Hyundai is also offering benefits of upto Rs 48,000, making it an even sweeter deal.

Features & Specifications

The base Era trim comes with standard features such as 6 airbags, a digital instrument cluster, a Type-C charging port, and tilt-and-telescopic steering. Aesthetic features include body-colored ORVMs and door handles, front and rear skid plates, and 14-inch steel wheels with wheel covers. You get more features on the higher trims. Features include a 10.25-inch infotainment display, cruise control, rear AC vents, a wireless charger, and a sunroof. 

The i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine (82 bhp & 115 Nm). Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual and iVT, but with the new Era variant, you don’t get the option of an IVT gearbox.
