Royal Enfield Retails 1 Lakh+ Motorcycles in Jan 2026

The brand also reached the 1 million sales milestone in just 10 months in this financial year across the globe

Royal Enfield has registered YoY sales growth of 14 percent in Jan 2026 with overall sales of 1,04,322 units against 91,132 units in Jan 2025. It also recorded a healthy YoY growth of 16 percent in domestic sales with volumes of 93,781 units in Jan 2026 as compared to 81,052 units sold during the same month last year. The exports also witnessed a YoY rise by 5 percent with 10,541 made-in-India units being shipped to various global markets in Jan 2026. Just so you know, Royal Enfield had exported 10,080 units in Jan 2025 from India.

Royal Enfield also crossed the 1 million sales milestone in just 10 months in this financial year across the globe, which includes touching the 1 lakh units export landmark. The company has posted positive YoY sales growth for the fourth month on the trot as it retailed more than 1 lakh units (domestic + export) each month between Oct-Jan.

Speaking about the performance for January 2026, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield, said, “The new year has begun on a positive note for Royal Enfield- extending the strong momentum from the previous quarter and marking four consecutive months of healthy double-digit growth. We have crossed 1 million motorcycle sales in this financial year across the globe and also crossed 100,000 motorcycle sales in exports. This consistent performance reflects expanding demand across our portfolio and the deeper engagement we continue to have with our community.”

Recently, the Chennai-based two-wheeler brand had launched the 2026 Goan Classic in the Indian market. Priced between Rs 2.19-2.22 lakh (ex-showroom), it was introduced with a new assist-and-slipper clutch and an upgraded USB Type-C fast-charging port. Being the flagship model in RE’s 350 range of motorcycles, it is powered by the 349cc single cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which delivers top power of 20.2 bhp and peak torque of 27 Nm.

The brand also rolled out a first-of-its-kind ‘Gymkhana’ in Bengaluru for advanced riding training to all riders, irrespective of the motorcycle they own. It involves expert coaching, certifications, and competitive challenges across multiple tracks and motorcycles. The riders are trained with real-world riding skills across both off-road and tarmac conditions.

Royal Enfield will have a busy 2026 as it gears up to present multiple new models across various segments. While the Bullet 650 will go on sale in the coming months, the brand’s first-ever electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, is likely to be launched in the first half of this year. The Flying Flea S6 will also hit the Indian roads by the end of 2026.
