Royal Enfield’s New Café Racer Spotted!

Royal Enfield’s new bike has been spotted testing, which appears to be their new speculated Continental GT 750.

We can derive from spy shots that it is a part of the Continental GT lineup because of its iconic café racer design, which we get in the current Continental GT 650. The round headlamps, the sculpted tank, chrome finished crankcase and the twin exhaust immediately remind you of the GT 650.

Unlike the recently revealed Continental GT-R 750, the GT 750 does not come with a front fairing.

What Can We Expect?

Like the previously spotted GT-R 750, the Continental GT 750 appears to be running on 18-inch alloy wheels. The GT 750 has been spotted with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres as standard on its higher capacity twins.

Another major change that is visible from the spy shots is the new instrument cluster. Unlike the existing GT650, we believe this new instrument cluster could be borrowed from the Himalayan 450, adding more features and functionality.

One of the most noticeable changes that we see in the spy shots is the dual front disc brake setup. The bike is also seen suspended on a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. With this package, the Continental GT 750 is expected to provide some impressive braking and comfortable ride quality.

The test mule also features new circular turn indicators, bar-end mirrors, LED tail lamps and new rear suspension. The rear suspension also appear different from the old gas charged unit that we see on the current Continental GT 650.

Powertrain

The Continental GT 750 will be powered by a 750cc parallel-twin engine expected to produce around 55bhp and 65Nm of torque. This will be a bored out version of the Continenttal GT 650. The engine is expected to offer a pretty good mid-range torque, offering a great value as modern-café racer.
