Yamaha RayZR, Fascino Hybrid Scooters Recalled in India

The Japanese brand has voluntarily recalled over 3 lakh units of both these scooters to fix the front brake caliper

Yamaha India has issued a voluntary recall for over 3 lakh units of the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid models. Around 3,06,635 units of the 125cc hybrid scooters manufactured between May 2, 2024, and September 3, 2025 have been recalled over a faulty front brake caliper. Yamaha RayZR Fi and Fascino Fi are two of the most successful scooters in the 125cc segment as they regularly feature in the list of ten top-selling models in the Indian market. Yamaha had last updated the scooter duo in Aug 2025.

“This voluntary recall has been initiated to address a potential concern wherein it has been identified that, under certain operating conditions, the front brake caliper exhibits limited function in select units of the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter models,” said the brand in an official statement.

The company further added that the replacement process of the specific component will be performed free of cost for all the scooters who are a part of this voluntary recall campaign. The owners of the RayZR and Fascino can visit the service section of India Yamaha Motor website to verify whether their scooter is eligible for this recall. On the website, the owners need to click on the ‘Voluntary Recall Campaign’ under the Maintenance section.
