Skoda Slavia Facelift Launching in 2026

The Skoda Slavia has been a go-to car for many car enthusiasts out there. And as per recent speculations, Skoda is expected to release an updated version of the ever-popular Slavia soon. The upcoming Skoda Slavia is expected to closely mirror the updates seen on the recently revealed Kushaq facelift. 

With the update, the sedan is likely to feature a revised front grille, new LED DRLs, a reworked bumper, and more. At the rear, Skoda is expected to take a big step forward by introducing connected tail lamps with an illuminated Skoda logo, as introduced on the 2026 Kushaq facelift.

Inside the cabin, the changes are expected to be more significant. Updates could include new upholstery, an upgraded infotainment system, and a revised digital instrument cluster. It is also expected that Skoda might also bring the segment-first feature, such as the rear seat massage function, to this car. We also expect a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS, but considering the updates we saw with the Kushaq facelift, it seems unlikely to happen.

Powertrain

Mechanically, the Slavia is expected to retain the same powertrain options as the current generation. This means no dramatic changes under the hood. We expect to see the regular 1-litre TSI (114bhp & 178Nm) and 1.5-litre TSI (148bhp & 250Nm) engine. Interestingly, the 6-speed AT gearbox that we get with the 1-litre engine is expected to be replaced by a new 8-speed torque converter unit. The 1.5-litre is expected to continue with the same 7-speed DSG transmission.

Expected Launch & Pricing

Although Skoda has not confirmed exact dates, sources suggest the Slavia facelift will launch around late 2026 or early 2027. Pricing for the updated Slavia is expected to carry a premium of around Rs. 30,000 to Rs 60,000 over current models.
