Which Variant Should You Buy?

After extensive research, we have concluded that the base AX variant of the XUV 7XO provides the most bang for your buck. The AX base variant sits at the lowest price point and is targeted at buyers who want an SUV’s core strengths without pushing their budget. But does going for the entry-level trim mean missing out on the essentials, or does it actually offer enough to make it the best choice in the range?

Traditionally, many buyers would pick the base variant and then add aftermarket accessories to make it look and feel like a top variant. But with the XUV 7XO, Mahindra has already packed the entry-level variant with enough features to blur the gap. Because of this, the usual aftermarket route will suddenly feel unnecessary.

What Does It Offer?

What really makes the XUV 7XO stand out from the crowd is just how well-equipped it is. Key highlights include –

  • 31.24 cm Triple Screen Setup
  • Bi-LED Projector Headlamps with DRLs
  • DaVinci Suspension
  • Cruise Control
  • Electronically adjustable ORVMs
  • Drive Modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom & Custom Mode (Diesel Only)
  • Steering Mounted Controls
  • Follow Me Home Headlamps
  • Alexa Built-in with ChatGPT
  • Rear AC Vents (2nd & 3rd row)

On the safety front also, Mahindra has not cut any corners for the base variant. The car is equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) along with Hill Hold Control, ABS + EBD, Hill Descent Control, all-wheel disc brakes along with 6 airbags as standard on all the variants.

To put it simply, the XUV 7XO offers most of the features buyers actually look for, without forcing them to jump to a higher variant.
