New Tata Punch Facelift Features Explained!


Priced between Rs 6.62 lakh and Rs 12.23 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), the Tata Punch is the most affordable Tata SUV. However, it does not compromise on features, safety and performance. Tata has offered the Punch in 8 personas, and we are here to explain these variants so you can make an informed decision.

1. Smart


The Smart is the base variant of the Punch, priced between Rs 6.62 lakh and Rs 7.68 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Even though it is the base variant, it gets a decent amount of features. Features include:
- 6 airbags
- LED headlamps
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
- Hill hold assist
- 2 Drive modes (City and Eco)
- Follow me home headlamps
- Front power window
- Keyless entry
- 4-inch digital cluster
With this variant, you can either choose the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine or the same engine with iCNG, with only a 5-speed MT.
2. Pure – New Tata Punch Features


The Pure variant sits just above the base variant with a few additional features and carries a price tag ranging from Rs 7.65 lakh to Rs 8.57 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The features mentioned below are in addition to the Smart variant:
- Rear AC vents
- Steering Mounted Controls
- Front Centre Armrest
- Rear Defogger
- Day/Night IRVM
- 4 speakers
- All power windows
- Electrically adjustable ORVM
- Smart digital steering wheel
With this variant, you can either choose the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine or the same engine with iCNG, with only a 5-speed MT.

3. Pure Plus


As the name suggests, the Pure Plus variant gets a few additional features over the Pure variant, along with more options for the gearbox. This variant carries a price tag ranging from Rs 8.23 lakh to Rs 9.75 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The features mentioned below are in addition to the Pure variant:
- 8-inch Touchscreen System
- Reverse Parking Camera
- Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
- Cruise Control
- USB Type-C Fast Charger
- Height Adjustable Driver Seat
- 15-inch wheels with wheel covers
- Dual tone horn
- Shark fin antenna
With this variant, you can either choose the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine or the same engine with iCNG. However, you can opt for a 5-speed MT or 5-speed AMT for both NA petrol and CNG engines.
4. Pure Plus S – New Tata Punch Features


The Pure Plus S variant, priced between Rs 8.63 lakh and Rs 9.55 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), gets a few more features over the Pure Plus variant. Features include:
- Voice-assisted electric sunroof
- Roof rails
- Auto headlamps
- Rain-sensing wipers
In this variant, you can choose the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine or the same engine with iCNG. The NA petrol engine could be had with both a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT, while the CNG can only be opted with the 5-speed MT in this variant.

5. Adventure


Much like in every other Tata car, the Adventure variant usually seems the most value for money when it comes to features. And it looks like it is the same case with the Punch. The Adventure variant carries a price tag ranging from Rs 8.92 lakh to Rs 10.45 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Features mentioned below are in addition to the Pure Plus S variant:
- 360-degree camera
- Blind view monitor
- 15-inch stylised wheels
- Fully automatic temperature control
- Push button start
- Auto fold ORVM
- Rear wiper and washer
- Air purifier
This is the only variant that is available with all the engine options and gearboxes. So, you can choose between the 1.2-litre NA petrol with both the 5-speed MT and the 5-speed AMT. You could choose the CNG version with the manual and AMT. Or you could get the newly introduced 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed MT.
6. Adventure S – New Tata Punch Features


The Adventure S variant sits just above the Adventure variant. This variant is priced between Rs 9.32 lakh and Rs 10.84 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Features mentioned below are in addition to the Adventure variant:
- Voice-assisted electric sunroof
- Roof rails
With this variant, you can either choose the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine or the iCNG. However, you can opt for a 5-speed MT for the NA petrol variant and 5-speed MT or 5-speed AMT with the iCNG.

7. Accomplished


Sitting just below the top-spec variant, the Accomplished variant carries a price tag ranging from Rs 9.75 lakh to Rs 10.62 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Features mentioned below are in addition to the Adventure variants:

- 16-inch alloy wheels
- LED DRLs
- Connected LED taillamps
- Extended under thigh support
- Touch-controlled automatic AC
- Hill descent control

The Accomplished variant is offered with either the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine or a 1.2-litre NA petrol CNG engine. The NA petrol can be had with a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT, while the CNG is only available with a 5-speed MT.
8. Accomplished Plus S – New Tata Punch Features


This is the top-spec variant of the Punch with all the bells and whistles. Priced between Rs 10.56 lakh and Rs 12.23 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This variant gets features like:

- Voice-assisted electric sunroof

- Auto-dimming IRVM
- 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels

In this variant, you can choose between all three engine options. However, the CNG engine option can only be opted with the 5-speed AMT, while the other engine options can be had with all their respective transmission options.
