The Flagship Revealed
The brand here in this context is none other than Skoda. Skoda is all set to unveil its upcoming electric flagship called Peaq in 2026. Initially, Skoda unveiled the Vision 7S Concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, which has now been named Peaq.

This 7-seater EV is set to premiere globally in Summer 2026 and will be Skoda’s most premium car to date. Unlike Skoda’s current electric models, which are mostly compact crossovers, the Peaq is expected to be a true three-row SUV. This means room for seven passengers and generous cargo space. The brand has claimed that the Peaq will carry Skoda’s core values of practicality, safety, and intelligent design.

What to expect in design?
Skoda’s latest teaser of its upcoming electric flagship gives a clear preview of the final design direction. The SUV closely follows the Vision 7s concept, especially at the front and rear. It features T-shaped LED headlights and tail-lamps, connected by Skoda’s Tech Deck Panel with integrated light elements along the top.

At the rear, the SUV gets a split roof spoiler and blacked-out ‘SKODA’ lettering on the tailgate. This model also introduces Skoda’s wordmark-only logo and Modern Solid design language. Notably, the modern design philosophy can already be seen on newer models like the Kylaq and Kodiaq.

Powertrain & Range
Following Skoda’s other electric models, the upcoming 7-seater EV will likely be built on the modular MEB platform. The carmaker has already confirmed an 89kWh battery, which is expected to deliver a range of over 600km on a single charge.
Fast charging will also be another key highlight of this car. The battery will support charging speeds of up to 200kW, allowing quick top-ups and convenient long-distance travel.
