Pune Police Get Special Fleet Of Bajaj Dominar 400!

Offenders should now beware, as the Pune police force will be riding the Dominar 400. The police forces of Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and rural Pune have now been equipped with 100 units of the Bajaj Dominar 400, which have been modified for operational use. This new fleet will join the police force after serving in the official convoy for the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour 2026. Designed specifically for purposes like emergency response and patrolling, the Dominars are equipped with LED emergency lights, sirens, PA systems, first air kits, hard side panniers, a top-box, an antenna-mounted light, GPS tracking and charging points. This equipment, along with a few police-specific decals, makes the bike stand out, and it looks really cool! So, traffic offenders should either stop breaking rules or be very careful, as these Dominars will catch up with them!

What Else?

The Dominar can easily catch up with most bikes on the road, thanks to its punchy 373cc engine. The engine produces 39.4bhp and 35Nm of torque along with a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of features, the Dominar 400 gets dual-channel ABS, USD forks, traction control, multiple ride modes, all-LED lighting and much more. Currently, the Bajaj Dominar 400 carries a price tag of Rs 2.95 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). However, we believe that the police-spec version might cost more.
