Volkswagen Virtus –
Volkswagen is offering attractive deals this January, with some of the best sedan discounts that you cannot afford to miss out. The entry level Virtus variants receive the maximum discounts, wherin the Comfortline MT leads the pack with a discount of up to Rs. 1.26 lakhs. The Highline Plus AT gets up to Rs. 1 lakh off, while the GT Line AT is available with Rs. 80,000 in savings. Currently the price for the Virtus ranges from Rs. 12.43 lakh to Rs. 22.48 lakhs (on-road Mumbai).
For the sportier GT Plus Chrome DSG and the GT Plus Sport DSG, there’s an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 30,000. Both trims come with the 150hp 1.5 litre turbo-petrol engine and a 7 speed dual-clutch automatic. However, if you’re considering the manual 1.5 litre versions, there are no discounts available as of now.

Honda City-
Honda has also rolled out with a wide range of benefits on the City this January making it an attractve option for buyers looking for added value. For starters, the SV, V, and X automatic variants get the biggest discount of up to Rs. 1.17 lakh. This includes benefits like exchange bonus (Rs. 40,000), cash benefits (up to Rs. 30,000), loyalty benefits (Rs. 4,000), corporate discount (Rs. 5,000), and self-employment discount (Rs. 10,000). Additionally, these trims get a Rs. 28,700 reduction on the 7-year extended warranty, reducing long-term ownership costs.
The manual variants too receive similar benefits. Though the extended warranty discount for the manual variants is set slightly lower at Rs. 27,300. At the top, the ZX trim has a Rs. 20,000 cash discount, plus warranty savings of Rs. 16,000 for the manual and Rs. 17,000 for the CVT.
Beyond all these discounts, you can avail a scrappage incentive up to Rs. 20,000 on all variants of the Honda City.
With January 2026 bringing some of the best sedan discounts, buyers who act quick can lock in better value before it’s too late.
