Upcoming Cars In India – Renault Duster

Scheduled to launch on January 26, 2026, the Renault Duster is finally making a comeback into the Indian market. As of now, we know most details about the Duster as it is already available in various international markets. In terms of design, Renault has done a great job in making the SUV look even more robust and imposing than before. The boxy design and large dimensions will surely attract more attention on the road. On the inside, the Duster might not feel the most premium, but it is practical and comfortable. The international-spec Duster gets features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, auto AC and much more.

The India-spec version will likely get all these features. On the powertrain front, the Renault or Dacia Duster in international markets gets a plethora of engine options like a strong hybrid, a mild hybrid and a petrol engine. However, for the Indian market, we expect Renault to offer the older 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 154bhp and 254Nm of torque. We expect Renault to price the SUV between Rs 12.50 Lakh and Rs 23 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Stay tuned for the launch of the Renault Duster.

Tata Punch Facelift

Tata has officially revealed the facelift of the Punch, and it looks quite impressive. Drawing some design cues from the Punch EV, and a few more tweaks, the Punch now looks quite fresh. In the teaser, Tata mentioned the date “13.01.2026”, hinting at either the launch or the unveiling of the Punch facelift. We believe that Tata will officially launch the entry-level SUV on January 13, along with the pricing. The facelift brings in a slew of cosmetic upgrades like new DRLs and headlights, connected LED taillamps, new alloy wheels, and much more.

Features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, an ADAS suite, a 7-inch instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags and much more. The highlight of the teaser was the i-turbo badging along with the 6-speed MT. It is likely that Tata will offer the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. We could expect the power figures to be around 108bhp and 140Nm of torque, similar to the Altroz i-turbo. However, we do expect Tata to continue offering the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine. This will also be paired with the CNG powertrain. We expect Tata to price the Punch facelift between Rs 6.40 Lakh and Rs 11 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Upcoming Cars In India – Nissan Gravite

Nissan recently unveiled the name of its most affordable 7-seater – the Gravite. This MPV could become India’s most affordable 7-seater MPV, alongside its sibling, the Renault Triber. After the name unveil, the launch date has now been confirmed – January 21. However, the official sales will begin in March 2026. Although most details are still under wraps, we can expect the Gravite to borrow most features from the Triber. Features will likely include an 8-inch touchscreen, a wireless charger, a 7-inch instrument cluster, a tyre pressure monitoring system and much more. It is safe to say that the Gravite will get the same engine as the Triber, a 1.0-litre NA petrol engine (71bhp & 96Nm), along with a CNG fitment option. We expect Nissan to price the Gravite between Rs 6.50 Lakh and Rs 10 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
