Upcoming ADV Bike – Launching Next Month!
Well, there’s only two bikes that are gaining the majority of popularity. However, both of them will be seeing a new competitor, and it will be a dual cylinder model. You might have guessed the bike that we are talking about – yes, it is the BMW F450 GS. The new entry-level ADV bike from BMW after discontinuation of the G310 GS.

Moreover, this new adventure bike will be launched in the next month itself. We don’t think BMW will like to postpone the launch anymore, as it was earlier expected to launch by the end of this year. Regarding pricing, the BMW F450 GS is expected to be priced between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 5.5 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). But be aware folks, the cost might even go up, as it is a dual cylinder motorcycle along with the BMW tag.

What’s In This Bike?

The BMW F450 has already been showcased quite a few times now – it looks inspired from its bigger sibling R 1300 GS having a X shaped DRL setup at the front. The model will be equipped with a 420cc liquid-cooled dual cylinder engine producing 48bhp and 43Nm paired with 6 manual gearbox.
Talking about the features, the BMW F450 is expected to be a tech loaded machine from the brand. The feature list follows the addition of 6.5 inch colour TFT display, heated grips, four riding modes, traction control and switchable dual channel ABS.

Globally, BMW will be offering four variants – Basic, Exclusive, Sport and Trophy each with different equipment levels. It is not yet clear how the range will be structured for this market, and some features may be trimmed on lower variants to hit the expected price bracket.
Now, it looks to see if the BMW F450 gives a cut-throat competition to the RE Himalayan and the KTM ADVs or it will be another model that will be chosen by some golden ones. The only point here lies in the pricing, if kept correctly, then BMW will lure some new riders in their showroom checking out this model. Well we will definitely be one of them, would you be too?
