The TVS’s adventure bike has now drawn enough attention, making the manufacturer not worry about its performance in sales for a good time. However, just after the TVS RTX, BMW pulled its own move with the F450 GS – another adventure bike to be made under TVS-BMW partnership. While many have already booked the RTX, do the others need to wait for TVS’s own version of this F450 GS? Let’s discuss –

TVS RTX 450 – Will It Come?

After slotting a motorcycle in the 300cc segment, will TVS move towards a big engine? The BMW F450 GS is expected to be a gem of a bike – twin cylinder, loaded with tech, promising suspension quality, big bike design and more. But, we also know its BMW, and the F450 GS won’t be a good choice for someone with tight pockets.
In this scenario, TVS can play its trick and launch its own version of the F450GS. In India, TVS will be helping BMW with this model. And already has the blueprint for it. Moreover, we have already seen this case with the BMW 310R and 310RR having a TVS sibling RTR 310 and RR 310 – and TVS versions are more affordable than the BMW ones. In the same structure a TVS version of F450 can be more accessible to the audience compared to the BMW ones, the whole difference just lies in that blue and white badge with BMW written on it.

What Can We Expect?

At present, TVS has not announced anything regarding this model. But, as we say, we can still keep our fingers crossed. So, if by chance TVS reads this and plans to launch one – we can expect a few things on the TVS version of the motorcycle. The first one being tech loaded, the Indian bike maker has already done it with RTX, now the same can be expected with the 450cc ADV. So, the bike will have an adjustable suspension setup, big design with commendable road presence, traction control, switchable ABS, riding modes, map mirroring, TPMS, up-right stance and more.

Apart from that, we expect TVS to not include the same flaw of giving a small tank with RTX. At least a 14-litre or 14.5-litre tank will do its job quite well. Talking about the engine, well the same 420cc liquid cooled, parallel-twin engine (48bhp & 43Nm). Yes, more power and far less vibrations. This model can be a good option for someone looking for a twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle in India.

Launch & Price

This is quite tricky – until now, we haven’t heard from the brand regarding the inclusion of this model in its lineup. However, if things go according to the plan, by the second half of 2026, we could see the brand making this as its major announcement. Talking about the pricing, we expect the model to be priced between Rs 4.5 lakh and Rs 5.5 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
