Upcoming Tata Cars – Big Plans Leaked

Tata has now confirmed launching the first model under the Avinya tag by late 2026. Avinya will be a new sub-group of Tata Motors, which will compete with the likes of luxury cars. Initially the brand has planned to launch 5 new nameplates under Avinya group and are currently in the development phase.

According to the reports, one of these 5 upcoming Avinya models will be a Volvo EM90 MPV and the Lexus LM rival. For those who don’t know about this Volvo MPV, it was launched back in 2023 and is an electric 6-seater luxury car that never made its way to India. While the Lexus LM has been a most popular choice among the celebrities.

Tata’s own luxury MPV will be another model that will be placed in this segment. While it’s too early to expect anything about this model. We expect it to be launched in the coming years, before 2030. Yes, we would need to wait for it. But, believe us, the wait will really be exciting.

What’s In It?

The Avinya models will be based on the new Gen 3 EV architecture. With all models being specifically electric ones, Tata would need to position it and market it very accordingly to not lose sales.

Apart from that, as this will be the car that will be positioned to take on the luxury models it will be quite a tech and safety feature loaded model out there. Now, it is very early to predict what all features will be introduced on this model. We expect this model to offer some new tech features like a, two passenger displays too as it will majorly be a chauffeur-driven car, more comfort features for the rear passengers along with a fridge, JBL sound system, Level 3 ADAS and more in its package. Some of such things will be cleared after the launch of the first Avinya model.

Now, the Avinya models will be only electric ones, but the battery pack details too aren’t confirmed yet. However, we expect these models to offer a range above 550 to 600km on a single charge.
