TVS Apache RTX 300 – Indian Motorcycle Of The Year!
That’s right! While a very few people have managed to get their hands on the new TVS Apache RTX 300, the common belief is that it is a brilliant motorcycle. We believe it is the most well-rounded motorcycle in its segment in terms of features, performance, styling and everything else. When it comes to the Indian Motorcycle Of The Year, a jury of senior automobile journalists comes together to decide the fate of the winner. And out of 8 finalist bikes, the RTX 300 was crowned as the best motorcycle. But what led the jury to come to this conclusion about this year’s winner of the IMOTY?

Design
TVS has knocked every ball out of the park when it comes to the design and sheer road presence. The RTX 300 looks like nothing else on the road, and is a head turner for sure. The massive proportions, sharp and purposeful design and the overall finishing of the bike are immaculate. There have been images where the RTX 300 looks just as big or even slightly bigger than the Himalayan 450. Design elements like the tall windscreen, sharp LED headlamps, a muscular fuel tank, and an overall purposeful appearance.

TVS Apache RTX 300 – Features
When it comes to TVS bikes, the features are abundant, whether it’s a 125cc commuter or its flagship model. And the Apache RTX has everything that it needs and more. The ADV gets a plethora of features like cruise control, switchable ABS, a bi-directional quickshifter, fully adjustable front USD forks, a 5-inch TFT screen, multiple riding modes, map mirroring and much more. All of these features add to the convenience of the rider in city, highway and touring conditions.

Performance And Pricing
TVS debuted a completely new engine in the RTX, which produces a great deal of power and will likely be more refined than the 312cc engine. At the heart of the matter is a 299.1cc engine producing 34bhp and 28.5Nm of torque along with a 6-speed gearbox. The power and torque are quite impressive on the bike. Plus, as this is a completely new platform from TVS, the ride and handling balance is exquisite. The weight is distributed very well on the bike, and the suspension setup is the highlight. Whether it’s an off-road trail or city bumps, the TVS RTX can glide over everything without unsettling the rider. And the best part is that you can get this bike under Rs 3 Lakh. Priced between Rs 2.34 Lakh and Rs 2.74 Lakh (on-road, Mumbai), the RTX is likely the most value-for-money offering in its segment.
