After a long wait, Kia has finally revealed the new-gen Seltos in India. It has evolved drastically from its predecessor & has a lot of new goodies. In fact, the new-gen Seltos now gets 10 extra features over the Hyundai Creta. Let’s take a look at those features.

New Kia Seltos Features – 12.3-inch Digital Instrument Cluster

Kia Seltos now gets a larger 12.3-inch Digital Instrument Cluster from the Kia Syros. On the other hand, the Creta gets a smaller 10.25-inch unit.

12.3-inch Touchscreen System

Similarly, even the touchscreen system is now being shared with the Syros. At the same time, the Creta continues to get a smaller 10.25-inch touchscreen system

New Kia Seltos Features – Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay 

This feature is available on the Creta. However, the 10.25-inch touchscreen system offered on top variants of the Creta is not compatible with wireless features. Its lower variants with smaller screens do support the feature.

5-inch HVAC Touch Display

Additionally, the new Seltos also shares a 5.0-inch touch display with the Syros. This display is dedicated to controlling AC settings.

New Kia Seltos Features – 10-way Powered Driver Seat 

Yes, this is another feature that the new Kia Seltos gets over Hyundai Creta. With Creta, you only get an 8-way powered driver seat. However, it is important to know that the Creta gets 4-way powered co-driver seat, which is missing on the new Seltos.

Automated Flush Door Handles

Unlike the traditional door handles on the Creta, the new Seltos is offered with modern flush door handles. Also, these can be operated automatically, wherein the handles pop out on unlocking the car.

New Kia Seltos Features – Level 2+ ADAS

The Hyundai Creta comes with Level 2 ADAS, which has ADAS features for front & rear. With the new Seltos, Kia is offering an updated ADAS suite. It now includes features like Lane Switch Assist & Parking Collision Avoidance Assist.

Memory ORVMs

Offering a Memory Driver’s Seat is a common feature in modern cars. The new Seltos, however, has taken a step further by offering memory functionality for the ORVMs. The Creta gets a memory driver seat but not memory ORVMs.

New Kia Seltos Features – Head-up Display

Another feature that Hyundai Creta has missed for a long time is the Head-up Display. The Seltos, even the outgoing model, got this feature before the 2024 Creta. And now, Kia has updated the unit with better graphics.

Powered Lumbar Support 

And finally, it is the adjustable lumbar support. The Creta, forget powered, does not even get manually adjustable lumbar support. On the other hand, the Seltos gets powered adjustment, which is first for the segment.
