One of the key reasons why Nexon is outselling other SUVs is the new GST 2.0. The new policy helped Tata Motors to bring down the prices of the Nexon. On the other hand, its key rival – Maruti Brezza, could not enjoy the GST 2.0 benefits. Also, the new policy created a massive price gap between the Nexon & the Creta. The SUV is currently priced between Rs 8.44 lakh & Rs 17.06 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). On the other hand, one of the most value for money – Creative variants is now priced from 11.46 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The creative variant offers some of the exclusive features that no other competitor at this price point does.

Not only is it the Creative variant that offers more features than the competition, but the model overall has some exclusive features. The Nexon comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera. These are not uncommon features, but the quality of Nexon’s screens and cameras is unmatched. Rest, it gets – ADAS, connected car technology, panoramic sunroof, JBL sound system, electronic parking brake with auto hold and more.

Another reason to consider the Tata Nexon is the plethora of engine options it offers. The SUV comes with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine & a 1.2-litre turbo CNG engine. Among these, the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine can be opted for DCA & AMT in automatic guise. At the same time, the diesel is available with an AMT gearbox, while the CNG is available only with a manual gearbox. Additionally, the SUV is also offered with an electric version, which has also created its own space in the segment.
