Upcoming 7-Seaters – MG Majestor

MG unveiled the Majestor a few months ago as the successor to the Gloster, but has yet to officially launch it. The Majestor is a D+ segment SUV (one above the Fortuner) due to the fact that it is a 5m long SUV. This also means that it is one of the most spacious SUVs around. While the official date is yet to be confirmed, we are sure that it will launch this month. We expect it to be priced around Rs 50-60 lakh (on-road, Mumbai)
The Majestor gets a long feature list that includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a panoramic sunroof, Level-2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a fully digital instrument cluster, powered front seats with massage and ventilation, etc.
A 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel (213bhp & 479Nm), mated to an 8-speed AT, powers the Majestor. And like a true off-roader, the Majestor also gets a 4WD drivetrain on the higher trims.

Vinfast MPV7

The MPV7 has been spotted testing several times on Indian roads, suggesting an imminent launch. Its launch has been scheduled for April 15th. It will cater to both general buyers and fleet buyers. And to do so, we expect it to be priced aggressively at around Rs 20 lakh to Rs 30 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
Since it is already on sale in global markets, we get an idea of what features and powertrain it could offer. For features, it could get a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, single-zone automatic climate control, USB fast-charging ports, and a 4-speaker sound system.
The MPV7 will be offered with a 60.13kWh pack, mated to a single electric motor that produces 201 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. These may not be eye-watering performance figures, but they are decent enough to carry a family of 7. The MPV7 can go up to 450km (NEDC-claimed) and can charge from 10% to 70% in 30 minutes.

Upcoming 7-Seaters – Skoda Kodiaq RS

Skoda has already unveiled the launch timeline for the Kodiaq RS, which is in Q2 of 2026. This means it could be launched at any time within these 3 months. This will be a sportier version of the Kodiaq, and we expect some performance upgrades. We expect it to be priced around Rs 55-60 lakh (on-road, Mumbai)
It will adopt the same 2.0-litre TSI engine mated to a 7-speed DSG and AWD drivetrain. The regular Kodiaq produces 202 bhp and 320 Nm of torque, and these figures are expected to be boosted by the RS version. Along with performance upgrades, it would also get major cosmetic updates to make it look sportier.
It is would get a similiar feature list as the Kodiaq. Some expected features include powered front seats with ventilation and massaging, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, etc. Skoda could surprise us and offer an ADAS suite as well.
