Upcoming SUVs – Legendary Comeback!

The first car or SUV on the list is the most awaited – the Tata Sierra. A legendary nameplate that is all set to make a comeback after 13 years – but in a modern avatar. Talking about its launch, the Sierra petrol/diesel will launch tomorrow – 25th of November. Pricing-wise, we expect the brand to launch it at very aggressive pricing, anywhere between Rs 12 lakh & Rs 24 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Now, all the details will be revealed at launch. However, we do know some of the exciting features that will come equipped with the model. Talking of which, the Sierra will be offered with – a triple screen layout, powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, 12-speaker JBL Black sound system, head-up display, Level 2 ADAS and more. Powertrain-wise, expect the Sierra to get – a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre TGDi engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Formula Car At A Budget!

The next SUV that we are talking about is a big surprise for everyone! In 2024, Mahindra launched the BE6 in India and its Batman Edition earlier this year. Now, the brand is set to give yet another makeover to make its buyers stand out in the crowd! Inspired by Formula E, Mahindra will likely launch the BE6 Formula E edition! Talking of which, the new limited edition will be launching on the 26th of November. Mahindra has already teased the upcoming SUV – revealing some key details.

As per the teaser, the new edition model can be seen with eyebrow-like LED DRLs – instead of the C-shape on the current model. Even the C-shaped rear taillights on the current model have been swapped with sleek units. Rest, we expect some sporty decals on the SUV, including a carbon fibre finish on the inside. Also, the SUV can be seen with a bold Orange paint shade to enhance the sporty appeal. Apart from a few visual changes, the BE6 will likely retain the feature list and battery options from the current model.

Upcoming SUVs – New 7-Seater SUV!

The limited-edition BE6 was surely a surprise for everyone. However, what Mahindra had earlier confirmed is the launch of the all-new XEV 9S! Mahindra’s first electric 7-seater SUV is all set for a launch on the 27th of November. Once launched, the XEV 9S will be one of its kind and will have no competition for some time. Talking about the model, it will be an XUV700-like SUV with design, features and specifications being shared with the XEV 9e. Multiple teasers have already revealed features like – Harman Kardon sound system, powered tailgate, a triple screen layout, powered boss mode, a massive panoramic sunroof and a frunk. Design-wise, it will likely have a similar front profile to the XEV 9e. However, the rear is expected to get tail lamps from the XUV700, and no, it won’t get the connected treatment. That said, the battery pack options will likely remain the same – a 69kWh & a 79kWh. Both these battery packs can give a real-life range of more than 450km.
