2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Teaser Out, Launch Tomorrow

The 2026 Guerrilla 450 is likely to come with meaningful cosmetic and mechanical updates to woo the customers in the Indian market

Royal Enfield has released the first official teaser of the upcoming 2026 Guerrilla 450 ahead of its launch tomorrow in the Indian market. Though not much is known about the updates, it is believed that the roadster will get both visual and mechanical ones. The 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 could be introduced in multiple new colour schemes, modern features and an improved rear suspension. The roadster, first launched in July 2024, is available in three variants namely Analog, Dash and Flash in a price range of 2.56-2.72 lakh (ex-showroom).

First things first, several existing owners had a complaint that the rear suspension of the roadster is a bit stiff and hence on the basis of customer feedback, the company could fix this issue with an updated unit. Moreover, the standard tyres could be replaced with more premium and grippier ones to improve the overall ride quality and comfort.

As far as cosmetic updates are concerned, while the overall look of the 2026 Guerrilla 450 is likely to remain the same, we could see updated graphics with new paint shades. In terms of features, Royal Enfield is likely to equip the roadster bike with latest bells and whistles such as cruise control, traction control system and a quickshifter as standard.

At the heart, the Guerrilla 450 will continue to carry the same 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Sherpa petrol engine which is good enough for max power of 39.7 bhp and peak torque of 40 Nm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. One of the major surprises in the 2026 Guerrilla 450 could be the all-new USD front forks in place of the telescopic units.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is up against the likes of Triumph Speed 400 and Harley-Davidson X440 in the Indian market. The bike, upon its launch, was priced between Rs 2.39-2.54 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company was compelled to hike the prices after the Indian government introduced the GST 2.0 in Sep 2025 in the country which raised the tax on bikes with engine capacity above 350cc from 31 percent to 40 percent.

Unlike its arch rivals like Triumph, Bajaj and KTM, Royal Enfield has no plans to roll out a downsized version of the Guerrilla 450 with a 350cc engine to enjoy the lower tax benefits. Just so you know, under the GST 2.0, bikes with engine capacity below 350cc attract tax of merely 18 percent, lowered from the earlier 28 percent. The 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is likely to be costlier than the ongoing model due to the additions in the feature list.
