Hyundai Exter Facelift:

Hyundai has managed to sell a decent number of the Exter, but it faces a lot of pressure from its rival that Tata Punch. With the Punch facelift, its popularity has grown even further. Test mules reveal that the overall design is expected to be the same. Only some cosmetic changes at the front and rear of the Exter, which can be derived from the higher-segment Hyundais. The H-shaped DRL are identical to this camouflaged Exter as well.

On the inside, Exter is expected to get larger screens. And the availability of certain infotainment features, like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, is expected to be offered with lower trims as well.

The powertrain options are expected to remain the same as before, with the 1.2-litre NA engine available. This engine is to be offered with two fuel option including petrol and petrol+CNG. With the excellent claim mileage of 27.1 km/kg for the CNG variants.

Hyundai Verna Facelift:

After three major facelifts, the Hyundai Verna is set to undergo another facelift. Based on the test mule, the body shape is expected to be largely the same as the current Verna. Some cosmetic changes can be expected to the car’s front and rear bumpers. The revisions to the front fascia include changes to the grille; the quirky, continuous front DRL will remain. The connected taillamps are to remain the same.

The Major changes on the Verna facelift are expected to be inside the cabin. From some earlier, shy shots, we can infer that the interior offerings will be similar to those of the Venue facelift, along with the new steering wheel. This steering wheel will miss the Hyundai Logo (H) and instead feature the Morse code for the letter ‘H’. Interior features will include a curve dual screen setup with 12.3-inch screens. In addition, there will be an electric sunroof, ambient lighting, Level 2 ADAS, heated and ventilated front seats, a powered driver seat, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and much more.

Under the hood, this facelift is expected to offer the same 1.5-litre (113.4 bhp) NA and 1.5-litre (157.8 bhp) turbo petrol engines.

Expected Launch & Price:

Hyundai has been testing the Verna facelift for quite some time now. That being said, it can be here in the upcoming months before the festive season. With a price tag ranging from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 18 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). On the other hand, the Exter is expected to be introduced by the end of this year, priced between Rs 5.50 lakh and Rs 9.80 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
