Upcoming Toyota Cars – Toyota Urban Cruiser Electric

It will be Toyota’s first electric offering. The SUV will be a rebadged version of the Maruti e-Vitara, and is expected to be launched by the start of 2026.
For someone who always checks the brochure for features, the Toyota’s EV gets a twin-screen setup, a wireless charging pad, a Level 2 ADAS suite, a JBL premium audio system, an electronic parking brake, a sunroof and loads more. Along with that, the SUV will offer two battery pack options: 49kWh and 61kWh. The range has not yet been announced, but we expect the larger battery-pack version to deliver a range of more than 500 km.

Upcoming Toyota Cars – Land Cruiser FJ

Toyota will also be bringing the Land Cruiser FJ to Indian shores by the end of 2027. It will be positioned below Fortuner in the brand’s lineup, hence it will be priced accordingly to fill the gap between HyRyder and Fortuner.
This boxy-looking SUV will have a good list of features on the inside. Some to mention include – a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a powered driver seat, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.
The powertrain details are currently not shared; however, we expect the model to get a 2.7-litre NA petrol engine, along with strong hybrid options. The probability of it getting a diesel engine remains unlikely.

Upcoming Toyota Cars – Hilux Champ

The third new nameplate is expected to be the Hilux Champ. According to rumours, the brand is looking to expand its footprint in rural areas, and the Hilux Champ is one of the best contenders.
It is not the most feature-packed Toyota, but indeed a capable off-roader. That said, the feature list might bore those living in urban areas. Globally, the pickup is offered with several powertrain options, but in India, we expect it to come with a 2.7-litre NA petrol and a 2.4-litre diesel engine.

Other Toyota Cars –

Apart from the three mentioned above, Toyota will update the other models in its portfolio with facelifts/new generations in the near future. The list also includes luxury SUVs and cars like LC300, Vellfire, and Camry, along with the rest of Toyota’s mass-market cars, including Glanza, Rumion, HyRyder, Innova Crysta, Hycross, and Fortuner.
So that means, a new-gen Fortuner is around the corner? That’s a topic we will talk about in the coming time.
